California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant

On May 13th, Governor Newsom announced a plan to expand the COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant program to a total of $4 billion, representing the largest such program in the entire country. Read the full announcement here.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund

The Restaurant Revitalization Fund was established to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss of up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)

The EIDL provides economic relief to small businesses and nonprofit organizations that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. The purpose of the loan is to help businesses meet financial obligations and operating expenses that could have been met had the disaster not occurred.

CA Rent Relief Program

 This program will help income-eligible households pay rent and utilities for both past due and future payments. Both landlords and renters can apply.

Shuttered Venue Operations Grant

Live venue operators, theatrical producers, promote, and other eligible applicants may qualify for grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million. $2 billion is reserved for eligible applications with up to 50 full-time employees.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

SBA is currently offering PPP loans originated only by participating community financial institutions including Certified Development Companies (CDCs), SBA Microlenders, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) until May 31, 2021, or until remaining funds are exhausted.
