What Is UBRC?

UBRC is a group of programs created by the County of San Diego Black Chamber Commerce designed to help local minority-owned businesses access education, resources, and mentorships.

Our courses are intended to introduce practical solutions that address the generational wealth gap in minority communities.

Why Participate?

To be exposed to an extensive network of other entrepreneurs, mentors, and experienced professionals.  To learn about capacity-building initiatives and get the support and insider knowledge you need to see your business flourish!

After successfully completing a UBRC program, you will receive a grant to build business capital.

Summer Level Up Program for Underserved Youth

As part of our mission to create generational wealth in underserved communities, CSDBCC is committed to encouraging youth leadership, financial literacy, and early career planning.

Our Summer Level Up Program for San Diego high school students is focused on supporting their socio-emotional development, training their decision-making skills, and encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit.

At the end of the course, students will receive a grant Stipend and Brighter Futures fund.

Entrepreneurship-Building Program for Formerly Incarcerated Individuals

This program is designed for formerly incarcerated people who have decided to pursue entrepreneurship and need support taking the first steps to launch their business.

With the guidance of our experienced instructors and mentors, this course will give you the acumen and understanding to establish a successful enterprise. Learn how to streamline daily operations, grow your sales, market your business to customers, and obtain capital from investors.
