U.S. Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. The SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses. 

Accessity

Accessity’s mission is to open doors of financial opportunity, primarily to entrepreneurs of color, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs so they can build prosperous businesses and livelihoods for themselves and their families, while also strengthening their communities. Accessity offers loan programs, an extensive network of partners, the Accessity Academy, webinars, and more. 

SCORE

SCORE is the nation's largest network of volunteer expert business mentors, and is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow, and achieve their goals. SCORE provides a wide range of services including: mentoring, courses on demand, online resources (e-guides, blogs, videos), and a calendar of local events.

San Diego and Imperial SDBC

The San Diego and Imperial SBDC have advisors that are proven experts in their fields and are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed. Schedule free 1-1 advising sessions, attend live workshops, and receive on-demand training on a wide variety of business topics. 

The Supplier ClearingHouse

Women, minority, LGBT, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are invited to join The Supplier Clearing House’s supplier diversity program. The Supplier Clearinghouse certifies these firms and publishes a directory for use by participating utility companies and the public. The program provides certified MBE, WBE, DVBE, and LGBTBE firms the opportunity to participate in a wide range of business opportunities. 

Contract with Federal, State, and Local Governments

At usa.gov, learn how your business can search and compete for contract opportunities with federal, state, and local governments, and U.S. territories. Also find out how your business can secure contracts and sell to the military and federal agencies.

Visit sam.gov to source contracting opportunities from federal contracting offices. Anyone interested in doing business with the government can use this system to search for opportunities. Opportunities include pre-solicitation notices, solicitation notices, award notices, and sole source notices.

By creating a Google for Nonprofits account, your organization will have access to a host of benefits to increase your nonprofit’s impact.
